Elizabeth Mathews is the 6th great-grandmother of Lewis Way (Elizabeth Mathews, Thomas Tuttle, Esther Tuttle, Esther Russell, Samuel Way, Solomon Way, Edward Lewis Way, Hiram Lewis Way, Lewis Beathel Way).
Elizabeth Mathews was born Feb 1607 in Exeter, Devonshire, England, daughter of Edward Mathews and Elizabeth Nashe. She died 30 Dec 1684 in New Haven, Connecticut. In 1630, she married in England to William Tuttle.
